Connecting to Community

On Friday night, Connection Church hosted a premier showing of “Billy – The Early Years”  — a movie about the early ministry life of Billy Graham.    Mike Illitch Jr and Gigi Graham (eldest daughter of the Billy & Ruth) were here to “host” the event.   It was a great opportunity to connect with people in our community and other area churches.

Hundreds gathered in a Canton church Friday night for the Michigan premiere of a movie about the life of Billy Graham, one of America’s most popular preachers.

“The movie, “Billy: The Early Years of Billy Graham,” chronicles Graham’s decision to become a preacher and contrasts him with Charles Templeton, a friend and fellow preacher who later became an agnostic. The movie was shown at Connection Church in Canton and will be released in theaters nationwide later this month. “
