Baptism Team

What do Keebler Elves and  Magic Pixie Dust  have to do with Connection Church?    Absolutely nothing.    That’s why our ministry partners are so important to the life of Connection.     We wish we could wrinkle our noses and have ministry magically be done…. no wait… that’s really not true — we don’t wish that.

We don’t want to rob anyone of the opportunity to serve their Lord.

These two CCer’s serve important roles on our Baptism Team.

Jeanne Lobzun "Robey"

Jeanne Lobzun suggested after being baptized that she had a way to make the baptism waiting room more organized and flow better.    She became the “Baptism Momma” for every baptism after that…she refers to herself as Robey.
Jeanne organizes the robes, checks you in,  calms you down…you know like a Momma.  🙂

When we were developing the Baptism Wall to showcase what God is doing in the lives of those being baptized — we asked Christie Martin to get involved.   Christie takes pics of each Baptism candidate and creates the baptism cards you see hanging on the wall.

Christie Martin

Each of us has a role to fill at Connection.   The roles all work together to write the story of what God is doing in and through this body of believers.   The pen is no good if there isn’t paper to write on and the paper isn’t going to be around if a tree isn’t there.

Get the picture?

All important.  Equally.
